@ Woodinville Sports Club

We extend a warm welcome to both our existing and potential USTA teams considering representing our club.

Home Teams

Match Length:

USTA League and Seattle Cup matches typically have a duration of 90 minutes. Seattle Cup matches will follow the USTA timed match guidelines while the USTA League Home Team will decide whether to play a timed match or to play through match completion.

*As per USTA League preference, if a home team has decided to play through match completion, please allow for a couple of minutes for the previous team to finish their match. Any match playing beyond 95 minutes total must continue on an overflow court or be scheduled for completion at a later date/time.

Team Fees:

Home teams are required to pay a fee of $21+tax per person, which must be made in one lump sum payment at the front desk. We accept various forms of payment, including credit cards, cash, and checks, for any fees or services rendered during your visit. Please contact our club administration for any payment issues.

Warm-Up Court Booking Policy:

Warm-up courts may be reserved up to 7 days in advance with a Court Booking Pass, in accordance with the club's standard booking policies. All courts are released for booking at 8:00 AM daily. If the captain holds only a Class Registration pass and does not have booking privileges, they may reserve a warm-up court for up to 30 minutes free of charge on a walk-in basis, subject to availability, before their match. Any warm-up time beyond 30 minutes or any pre-booked courts must be secured using a Court Booking Pass, in line with the club’s booking policies.

Overflow Court Booking Policy:

Overflow courts are not guaranteed for any matches without a pre-booked reservation. If a 90-minute timed match is not played and no overflow courts are available, or if no pre-booked court was made, a reschedule must be arranged in accordance with USTA’s policies. Overflow courts must be booked in accordance with the club's standard booking policies. They may be reserved up to 7 days in advance of the match. All matches for the season are pre-scheduled in our system. However, due to high demand on match days, with up to 4-5 matches scheduled daily, courts are typically booked back-to-back.

USTA League Match Cancellation Policy:

To ensure fairness and accountability in the scheduling and utilization of court time, we have the following cancellation policy for USTA league matches:

  1. 24-Hour Cancellation Requirement: Teams must communicate any cancellations at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled match time. This allows sufficient time to notify all parties involved and potentially reassign the court.

  2. Court Default Notification: In the event of a court default, it is imperative that the defaulting team informs the relevant parties (club management, opposing team, and league coordinator) as soon as possible, but no later than 24 hours before the scheduled match time.

  3. Accountability for Court Costs: If a team defaults on a court and fails to notify the relevant parties within the 24-hour cancellation window, that team will be held responsible for the full cost of the cancelled court.

  4. By adhering to this policy, we aim to foster a respectful and efficient scheduling process for all teams and clubs involved in the USTA league. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

Captain Requirements:

All USTA Home Team Captains must hold a minimum of a Class Registration pass to participate in USTA at WSC. While it is not required for all players to hold a membership, at least one captain per team must have a valid membership. Captains typically opt for the Court and Range Access Pass to ensure they have access to courts for practice, warm-ups, and overflow during team matches. However, please note that USTA Court and Range Access Pass holders do not receive special privileges beyond those granted to other members of the club.

Court Matches:

All participating groups and captains must hold accountability for their trash, court messes, and personal items when they step onto WSC courts. WSC is not liable for lost items from either team participating in USTA matches.

WSC reserves the right to approve or decline any team registrations prior to the start of the season.
