OPEN PLAY PROCEDURES
Paddle Stack Waitlist:
The club uses a paddle-rack rotation system to ensure fair playing time. Place your paddle in the designated queue upon arrival. The queue has a maximum capacity of 6 players for 4-court sessions, 9 players for 6-court sessions, or 12 players for 8-court sessions.
Court Assignment & Rotation:
The first four paddles in the queue move to an available court. A "4 on, 4 off" system is enforced after a game is completed (to 11 points, win by 2). Players then exit the court and place their paddles at the back of the queue.
-
Exception: If there are no players waiting, the winning team may play one more game but must cede the court to new players immediately upon their arrival.
Challenge Court (Advanced Players):
One court will be designated as a "Challenge Court" for advanced players seeking more competitive games.
-
When a new group of two arrives, they must challenge the winning team.
-
The winning team stays on the court for a maximum of three consecutive games. After the third win, both teams (winning and losing teams) must exit and rotate to the back of the paddle stack.
-
If the challenging team wins, they stay on the court. The losing team exits and rotates to the back of the paddle rack.
-
The '2 on, 2 off' rule is only applicable to challenge court games.
Advanced Play (Wednesdays):
This is a gated session requiring a DUPR rating of 3.5 or higher and facility approval. Advanced players can sign up on the advanced play waitlist at the Front Desk.
Guest Registration:
Members or guests may register themselves or their guests over the phone or in person within 24 hours of the open play session starting. Payment must be made before registration is finalized. Registration is non-refundable. Guests must sign a waiver each time they visit the facility.
Waitlist Policy:
Signing up for the waitlist means you agree to be present for the session and will be billed the full amount if a spot opens.
